8 km trail race for runners and walkers.... plus junior races and fun family day out

The Race2Remember is an 8km marshalled trail race for runners and walkers of all abilities on around the scenic environs of Nicky Nook in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. The occasion includes a junior race (U16s); 2km fun event, and kiddie races: Kangaroos (U7s) and Bunnies (toddlers), as well as refreshments available in the delightful Applestore café. Organised by the Bolland family with Bowland Fell Runners and by kind permission of the owners of Wyresdale Park, the event is a dedication to dementia awareness and all proceeds go to Defying dementia
Beautiful spot, quality route (beware "The Sting"!), prizes galore, great value for money, parking, toilets, free mementos, refreshments, indoor changing facilities, boating on the lake.

Entry fees - £10 (plus £2 for unattached runners). All junior races, £1
